  The Emergency Medicine (EM) community provides health care to the broadest and most diverse patient population in America. However, the overall EM workforce demographics are significantly dissimilar from the US population. The Department of Emergency Medicine within the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) values diversity not only in our patient population, but in our collective faculty and residency.
